The Haveners | Family

While up in Ohio at the beginning of April, I got the chance to see some great friends. Jesse+Phil weren't the only ones.

Chloe and I are kind of like sisters. Her brother married my sister. But, we were friends way before that happened. Before Pinterest we would spend hours scrunched on a couch slowly looking at every detail on every page of every bridal magazine we could get our hands on. We would stay up late watching all four hours of movies like North and South (based on the Elizabeth Gaskill novel), and spend too much money getting pampered at Aveda salons before going to the theater on a Tuesday night in ballroom attire.

Beautiful memories of our teenage years.

Now we are married. We are mothers. Mothers to little boys, too!

We got to spend a few hours together one afternoon while Ralphie and I were in Ohio. I got to meet Chloe's baby, Hugo for the first time, too. Such a happy baby! Before inhaling delicious Chipotle burrito bowls, we did a little mini family session, since they haven't had any family pictures since before Hugo's arrival.

Aren't they a gorgeous family?!

Oliver and Hugo are just fifteen months apart. They are sure to be best buds! Seeing these two boys together made me excited for the arrival of our second little guy.

Oliver wasn't quite sure what he thought about taking pictures. He mostly just looked at me like this the whole time. ;)
