Her birth was long anticipated. This little baby girl had dozens and dozens of people awaiting her safe and healthy arrival. And now she's here, and every one of them is smitten. No one quite so smitten as her Daddy and Mama, though.

These next several pictures represent just exactly why I love doing newborn sessions in your own home, and not a studio. With a little creativity, this gorgeous dresser became the loveliest backdrop. No two newborns are alike, and their newborn pictures shouldn't be either.
If I have to pick a favorite, this is it:
Lena's springtime birth was quickly followed by the bloom of every azalea blossom in Glencairn Gardens. Of course we had to take advantage.
These two, they were just made to be parents.
Their love is over flowing for this dear baby girl of theirs. It is precious to see.
